"Recent Efforts, The Future's Focus:
Watershed Restoration Efforts in the Walla Walla Basin"

The Walla Walla Watershed is located in the southeastern corner of Washington state and the northeastern corner of Oregon. The Walla Walla Watershed includes three main river systems (the Walla Walla, Touchet, and Mill Creek) covering approximately 1,751-square miles.

What is Watershed Planning?

Watershed planning is a cooperative effort between community members including landowners, local governments, conservation groups, tribes, state and federal agencies, and many other entities that are coordinating together to develop local solutions to regional water issues.
